Alright guys get ready for an art spam attack from me. Because I realized I hadn’t posted my own art on here in AGGGGGEEEEESSSSS. XD Hope this is enjoyable instead of painful. XD

First up Katherine Collins comic yay! She used to be known as Arn Saba until she transitioned. She made a popular and well loved comic called “Neil the Horse” and it was just starting to get famous, she had a play, children’s television show, and movie lined up. But all the offers disappeared when she started using her feminine name instead of the masculine one she had become famous with.

Her career literally died and after that and she moved to Canada to be become a social worker. Her story is so sad but also not uncommon. Her shunning from the industry happened for a different reason than others but many women, including greats like Julie Doucet, have been ousted from the comics industry because of vitriol, institutionalized/accidental sexism, and down right apathy towards them and their work.

This is my comic telling women in comics not to give up. It was in the Ladydrawers Anthology which will soon be available for free online. I’ll keep you posted!

(Also if these are unreadable let me know I have links to bigger versions).
